Description Full length portrait of B.A. Colonna in his cadet uniform from the Battle of New Market. Foreground strewn with battle debris. Background shows Bushong House. Painting originally included kneeling figure (Mother Crim?) to Colonna's right. Upon examining the painting in the artist's studio, Colonna ordered the figure painted over.
